Vinterhi by Elsebeth Judith Yarn Kit

Elsebeth knitted the Size 2 in the Kokon Chunky Mohair in the colour Moon (as seen in the pictures above).

I am 5'10" tall with a bust size of 101.5cms/40" and knitted the size 3 in the Kokon Chunky Mohair in the colour Night (as seen in the pictures above).

Elsebeth describes her Vinterhi knitwear design as "A winter sweater in which you could hibernate inside until spring

               ❄️Vinterhi = hibernate❄️

Vinterhi is worked in collaboration with Michelle from Kokon Yarn.

Vinterhi is a relaxed-fit sweater with a V-neck, dropped shoulders and visible edges.

The sweater is worked top-down with an easy eyelet pattern at the front and back of the body. You start by casting on stitches at the shoulders for the back and work down to the underarms. Stitches are then picked up at the shoulders of the back to work the front in two pieces, these are joined after the neck shaping. The front and back are joined at the underarm and worked in the round until the hem. A lateral braid is worked before the hem is worked in stockinette stitches on smaller needles. Sleeve stitches are picked up around each armhole to work the sleeve top-down in the round to cuff and a lateral braid is worked before the sleeve cuff and the stitches are bound off at desired length. At the neck, stitches are picked up for further finishing.

Available in Sizes 1 (2, 3, 4):

The sweater has a positive ease at bust circumference of approx 35cm/13.75”

Bust circumference: 110 (130, 150, 170) cm/ 43.25 (51, 59, 67)”
