Varpu Sweater KOKON Chunky Mohair Yarn Kit

This lovely Varpu pattern by Jonna Hietala I knitted because I wanted to use the gorgeous KOKON Chunky Mohair......a yarn I just love. I wanted to create a quick and stylish knit and I am so happy with the result. So much so that I have added this yarn kit to the website so you can knit your own version too.

Varpu is worked top down, mostly as one piece. It is a very quick and effortless knit – easy enough for beginners and a nice snack for more experienced knitters.

I did make some modifications to the original pattern so I have added comprehensive notes to my ravelry project page. My user name on ravelry is ctashc. The original version by designed and made by Jonna was made from different yarn so looks completely different to my version. I took away the round neck and made mine a v-neck and did not include any ribbing to the neck. Please feel free to contact me if you are not on ravelry and I can email you my modifications.

Please click the link below to take you directly to the Varpu on Ravelry where you can purchase the pattern. (If you do not have Ravelry please let me know so you can purchase a hard copy and pdf copy of the pattern through the online store)
