Take The Weather Tank by Yamagara Yarn Kit
Bernice (@yamagara) writes "Take the Weather tank has a simple style that can be worn on its own or layered with different outfits in different weathers and seasons. Either side can be worn as the front. The name of the tank comes from Weather with You by Crowded House, a rock band that was formed in Melbourne. It was a song that was played almost everyday on the radio station and TV when my husband and I were in Australia for our honeymoon road trip 22 summers ago. It always holds memories of our Australian summers. It reminds me to live in harmony with nature and myself, and to find peace, not from a change of weather or situation but from within myself."
The front and back of this tank are worked flat from shoulders separately, then joined to work in the round to the hem. Shoulders are joined with a simple lace detail, worked in the same rows as armhole finishing. The same lace detail is reflected in the hem and neck finishing.
