Sophie Scarf by Petiteknit Jane's Version Yarn Kit
This lovely version by Jane of the Sophie Scarf by Petiteknit is what I would class as in an in between version of the Sophie Scarf and Sofie Shawl. I was lucky enough to be gifted this beautiful version and thought I would share all the details with you all so you too could either knit this version for yourself or as a gift.
The Sophie Scarf is worked back and forth in one piece, from tip to tip in garter stitch with built-in i-cord edges. Below are all the details to create your own Jane version of the fabulous Sophie Scarf.
Size: One Size
Length from tip to tip: approx. 190 cm [76 inches]
Width at center: 28 cm [11 inches]
Needles: 4mm [US6] / 60 cm [24 inches] circular needle
Materials: approx. 100 g of mYak Baby Yak Lace (350m / 383 yds per 50g) in the colour Oatmeal. Yarn is held double throughout.
Jane's Mods: Increase every 6th row instead of every 8th as written in the pattern until you have 64 stitches on your needles or alternatively weigh the yarn until you have a bit over 50g left. Start your decreases decreasing every sixth row instead of every 8th as written in the pattern.
I have added the link to Ravelry below where you can purchase a digital copy of the Sophie Scarf pattern.
