Runestone Wrap Yarn Kit

           

Runestones is a textured wrap inspired by the shapes of Runestones. Textures of Twisted Rib and cables are worked to create geometric patterns, separated by borders of Stockinette Ridges. This gorgeous wrap is designed by Rachel Illsley from Unwind Knitwear.

Kokon Merino Linen, light fingering weight/ 4ply, 90% Merino and 10% Linen blend (360m / 393yds per 100g).

MC : 2 x skeins of Kokon Merino Linen, light fingering weight/ 4ply, 90% Merino and 10% Linen blend (360m / 393yds per 100g) pictured in the colour Moon.

CC1 : 1 x skein of Kokon Merino Linen, light fingering weight/ 4ply, 90% Merino and 10% Linen blend (360m / 393yds per 100g) pictured in the colour Rose Gold.

SIZING
This accessory is designed in one size. Finished measurements are as follows:
Wrap width: 65” / 165 cm.
Wrap depth:15” / 38 cm.

GAUGE
Using 3.25mm / US size 3 needles, or needle size required to meet gauge, 31 stitches over 27 rows in Twisted Rib stitch, blocked, creates a 4x4”/10x10cm square.

SKILLS REQUIRED
-Long tail cast on
-I-Cord edging
-Working flat
-Twisted Ribbing (i.e. working knits and purls through the back loop)
-Increasing and decreasing in Twisted Rib pattern (video tutorial support available)
-Stockinette Ridges (video tutorial support available)
-Working cables over 2 or 3 stitches
