Nereidas Wrap Yarn Kit
The Nereidas Wrap designed by Cecilia Ballasteros is an oversized wrap that is perfect for keeping warm on summer nights while looking at the stars. With a simple construction that highlights the color fade of the wool.
Notes on construction
Nereidas Wrap is knitted by repeating the same sections throughout the wrap until all the yarn is used. It plays with the intensity of colour changes in the gradient fade set and goes from the darker colour on the edges of the wrap to the lightest colour in the central part of the wrap.
Size : One Size.
Finished measurements : Total width: 66 cm (26”). Total length: 260 cm (102.5”).
Yarn : Kokon Bleu Fingering Weight, fingering weight (100 g / 3.53 oz; 400 m / 437 yd; 100 % superwash merino wool).
5 x skeins of the fade kit in colour Jean Michel.
Needles : 3.75 mm / 80 cm (US 5 / 32”) circular needles or the required needle size to obtain the correct gauge.
Other notions: tapestry needle, digital scale and measuring tape.

22 sts x 31 rows = 10 x 10 cm (4 x 4”) in lace pattern in FLAT, after blocking.
