Kokon Yarn Flower Embroidery Bag Kit by Michelle Du Plessis

Michelle from Kokon Yarn has created a beautiful flower hand printed design on a canvas cotton bag for you to embroider on using the fabulous minis skeins from the KOKON Yarn collection.

I am by no means a fabulous embroiderer however the Stitch technique instructions (both visual and written) included in the kit are very comprehensive and easy to follow.

Embroidery Canvas : 1 x Kokon Yarn Flower Embroidery Bag made from 100% Cotton Canvas. 

Yarn : 5 x mini skeins of Kokon Yarn. Pictured are 2 x Kokon Yarn Chunky Mohair mini skien in the colours Diva (outline of larger flower) and Avo (outline of leaf) 1 x Kokon Yarn Slubby Mohair in the colour Rose Gold (outline of smaller flower), 3 x Kokon Yarn Merino Linen in the colours Rose Gold (couching stitch for both flowers), Cacti (couching stitch for leaf) and Tawny (French knots for the inner flower)

Notions : Embroidery needle, small scissors 

Recommended Tension : When Laying the Chunky and Slubby Mohair down on the outlines of the flower and the leaf, lay down loosely and gently to allow the yarn to bloom.
