Koivua Sweater - Sabrina's Version - Yarn Kit
You too can knit your own gorgeous Koivua Sweater by Caitlin Hunter in the Great Ocean Road Woollen Mill La Bella Aran weight yarn. For Sabrina's version she went down a needle size to obtain gauge and we love how it turned out using the Great Ocean Road La Bella Aran Weight Yarn.
Sabrina's version is knitted in Great Ocean Road Woollen Mill La Bella Aran weight Light Grey for the Main colour and Great Ocean Road Woollen Mill La Bella Aran weight 100% Australian Merino for the contrast colour (as seen in the photo on the left). If you would like to you can always reverse the colours, just swap the main colour to the 100% merino and the contrast colour to the Light Grey. Or alternatively you could choose the Medium Grey too (as seen in the photo on the right).
Koivua is a top-down circular yoke sweater that features stranded colourwork and texture created with simple knit and purl stitches, making this an engaging yet not difficult sweater to knit. The sleeves balloon gently and are finished with a simple, classic i-cord. The body and sleeve lengths are easily adjustable, keep in mind changes will alter the yardage required.
