Jeol Sweater by aegyoknit mYak Baby Yak Medium Yarn Kit

Jeol is Korean and means to bow for Buddha. The inspiration for Jeol came from the classic men’s coat with the herringbone pattern. The pattern is placed on the bottom of the sweater, in a colour in great contrast to the plain stockinette on the top. This is to underline the fusion between Scandinavian and Korean aesthetics which is the foundation of AegyoKnit.

The 'Jeol Sweater' designed by Karoline Skovgaard Bentsen (aegyoknit) is worked from the top down. German short rows are used to shape the neckline and is worked simultaneously with the neck rib. Afterwards the shoulders are formed with increases and then the back and front are knitted separately before they are joined together. The colourwork pattern on the body and sleeves are knitted using a chart.

Sizes : Sizes 1: XS/S/M, (2: L/XL/XXL)

We recommend for you to choose the size you would normally wear. (Tash is pictured wearing the size 1).

NOTE: If you are between two sizes, it depends on how oversized you want the look of the sweater. The measurements on the upper body are not given, as the sweater’s measurements are misleading due to the dropped sleeves. Instead, the measurements are measured across the body right under the armhole: size 1: 2x60 cm and size 2: 2x70 cm
