The forêt pullover by Eri is a gorgeous design inspired by a favourite book from Eri's childhood.

forêt is worked from the top down. The neck is worked first back and forth with increases, then the fronts are joined together at the tip of the V. The yoke is worked in the round until the sleeves and body are seperated at the underarm. The sleeves are also worked top-down in the round. You can choose from two different finishes for the hem, cuffs and neck.

Eri has knitted and modelled two versions of this beautiful design.

Version Two : uses one strands of Kokon Kidsilk Lace (72% Mohair, 28% Silk - 209 metres / 229 yards per 25g) 

C1: 3 (4, 4, 4, 5) (5, 6, 6, 6) 25 g balls, as seen on Eri in the colour Oxidized

C2: 2 (2, 2, 2, 2) (2, 2, 2, 3) balls, as seen on Eri in the colour Licorice

In Eri's Kidsilk Lace version pictured in the blue, Eri used the box pleat cuff and i-cord hem.

Needles
US 4 / 3.5 mm and US 6 / 4 mm circular needles, 24” / 60 cm or longer Optional: US6 / 4mm DPN (for box pleat)
Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

20 sts and 38 rows/rnds = 4” / 10 cm in Textured garter stitch, with US 6 / 4 mm needle

 

one using two strands of Kokon Kidsilk Mohair and the second using a combination of Kokon Merino Linen and Kokon Kidsilk Mohair. There are two options for the cuff, a box pleat which shown in the blue mohair version pictured, or a rib cuff which is shown in the Pistachio Merino Linen and Kidsilk Mohair version pictured. There also two options for the hem. There is the i-cord hem which is shown in the blue mohair version pictured and the rib hem which is shown in pistachio Merino Linen and Kidsilk Mohair version pictured. You can also choose to finish the neck off with an i-cord bind off as seen in the Pistachio merino Linen version.
