Faux Rib Stitch Scarf
I wanted to create a beginner friendly, no purl stitches, textured warm and snuggly scarf. The Faux Rib Stitch Scarf is, I believe a fabulous and stylish garment to wrap around your neck. I chose the gorgeous KOKON BLEU Aran Weight Tie Dye yarn for my version.
This is an easy scarf for anyone who does not like purling and wants a ribbed scarf. Instead of a purl stitch you slip stitch. I love the effect it creates and thought this pattern might be great for any beginner knitters out there who would like to give it a go......or for anyone experienced who likes the look of this scarf.
I used this YouTube tutorial for the basis of my faux rib scarf pattern as it was the clearest and most finished version I found:
