Euclid Shawl Yarn Kit

The Euclid shawl is one of my favourite hand knittted shawls. I knitted mine four years ago now as a test knit for Isabell Kraemer. It is warm, stylish and the lattice pattern teamed with the rib end is just stunning. I also love the shape of this knit. It can be worn in so many different ways. I have included this pattern as a kit because I think it is a timeless piece of clothing that is a must in the wardrobe......well it is in mine four years down the track.

Euclid's eccentric triangular shape—formed by increasing from one tip to the opposite full edge, plays beautifully with the balanced symmetry of the lattice. Think of warm hugs as you wrap this cozy shawl around you. It is a shawl that has softness as well as structure.

The lattice cable-and-eyelet motif featured on this asymmetrical shawl is combined with a simple 2x2 rib, and the results are stunning. Euclid strikes a gorgeous balance between softness and structure.
