Florence Spurling has outdone herself with her new gorgeous design the Elvan Shawl. This shawl design is a collaboration with Kokon Yarn and features colourful intarsia motifs and bobbles dotted throughout the shawl.
Florence describes her Elvan pattern as " a side-to-side triangular shawl inspired by the geometric emblems and hushed tones of vintage woven carpets. Staggered intarsia patterns travel the shawl like woven stories, mixed with pools of bobbles that lend an uber-plush feel. Elvan’s long tips and shallow depth make for a super-wearable accessory that fits perfectly into a contemporary wardrobe.
The shawl requires a main colour for the background, and nine contrast colours for the intarsia motifs."
