Dimensions Yarn Kit

I knitted this fab Dimensions Scawl (a mixture of both a scarf and a shawl) as a test knit for the designer Verena Cohrs many years ago now......and is it still a staple item in my wardrobe now......it's a what I call a timeless knit.

For my version I used Cowgirlblues Aran Single in the colours Silver Fox  and Charcoal (but you can choose any two colours from the Cowgirlblues Aran Single Range) as I wanted a chunky two colour brioche knit.

For my version I used the following yarn and needles to create a knit that is 29cms wide and 290cms long.

Yarn :

3 x 100g skeins of Cowgirlblues Aran Single, 80% Wool and 20% Kid Mohair, 120 metres / 131 yards per 100g skein in the colour Charcoal.

3 x 100g skeins of Cowgirlblues Aran Single, 80% Wool and 20% Kid Mohair, 120 metres / 131 yards per 100g skeinl in the colour Silver Fox.

Needles : 5mm / US 8 24" or larger Circular Knitting Needles.

I cast on 65 stitches for my version.

Ravelry: Dimensions pattern by Verena Cohrs

Included in the pattern are instructions for four sizes and seven yarn-weight specific versions for each size. You can also choose between one-colour and two-colour brioche versions, so you can use whatever yarn weight you’re most comfortable with and make exactly the scawl you’d love to wear. In addition, the pattern comes with lots of helpful information, e.g. on gauge and on brioche knitting.
