Caitlin describes her Fonda Sweater as "a cute little popover top featuring a fun bobble/twisted rib motif,veryloosely inspired by Jane Fonda’s wardrobe in The Electric Horseman. I know that’s a bit of a dated reference, but I can never predict where inspiration will come from! Fonda’s cropped fit is very easy to adjust if you prefer a longer fit. The sweater uses a tubular cast on and bind off- you can find links to tutorials for those techniques, as well as my preferred bobble-making method included in the pattern.

For my test knit for the Fonda Sweater I decided instead of using a 10Ply/worsted weight yarn (192metres / 210yards per 100g) I would like to soften the knit a bit and used three strands of Kokon yarn kidsilk mohair held together. I was able to achieve gauge this was
