The fabulous Andy Cardigan is a design by the lovely and very clever Junko Okamoto. I loved this pattern so much that I thought I should include it as a yarn kit on the website. For my short version of the cardigan I used the Great Ocean Road La Bella Aran. My modifications to this pattern were to use german short rows instead of wrap and turns. I used 4mm needles for my cuffs as I have small wrists and added an extra 5 rows in length. I am 5'10" tall and have a size 40"/ 101.5cm bust.
The Andy Cardigan is a top down knitted cardigan without seams. It is a oversized cardigan that is a one-size-fits-most. There are two version, a short and a long version. I knitted the short. As you are knitting this cardigan please try it on to make any adjustments as you are knitting the Andy. If your length of your sleeve needs to be adjusted you can do that easily by adding a few extra rows of ribbing.
The cardigan pattern is only available in one size so please look at the very detailed schematic that is available on the patterns ravelry page in Junko's photos.
